DIE CAST LUBRICANTS
DIE RELEASE AGENTS

These are water soluble chemicals that are sprayed on to the die surface to prevent soldering of the metal and facilitate extraction of the casting.

As an intrinsic aspect of pressure die-casting, a die release agent is needed to extract the component from the die mold. In the foundry world, they are also called “Die Lubes”.

ANTISOLDER PASTES

Antisolder pastes are synthetic non – acid lubricants specifically developed to remove solder safely with little carry over to the cast part.

They are formulated with highly refined synthetic oils and caustic additives that are more environmentally friendly than acid-based lubricants.

The pastes also include additives that can withstand high temperatures to provide the desired lubrication for cold die start-ups, ejector pins and moving compounds.
